Tam Binh Orphanage, Saigon

i visited this orphanage with my close friends who adopted a little Vietnamese baby from the orphanage. I was deeply moved by the children. With every visit from an adult, especially a couple, their hearts burn with hope that they may leave the orphanage with the couple. This hope is reflected in their eyes. These are beautiful, beautiful children. How I wish i could take all of them home....
Truly God's gifts.
all children are precious...God's special gift to us.
There is NOTHING in this world that can make you happy, sad, anxious, proud and all those other emotions as a child does...nothing.

Since the Jolies adopted their son from Tam Binh, I've had numerous queries ranging from contact person to the procedures of adopting a child from Tam Binh.
I really wish I could help but I can't, honestly.
I was at the orphanage as a guest and I took some pictures that's all.
Please use the web to search for whatever information you may need about the orphanage and contact your local government agencies regarding adoption procedures. I'm sure you will have better luck that way than asking me for assistance. Thank you

I adopted my son in Tam Binh in 2005 and did not have any pictures of his nanny until I foud out your amazing pictures thanks so much sandrine

Thanks for sharing these photos. I was born in Vietnam but grew up here in the states. When I see these photos, my heart breaks and wish to do something good for these children. Do you know what their needs are? I would like to coordinate some type of organization to help orphanages like this one.

I grew up in Vietnam and is now living in the United States. Vietnam is a great country w/ a rich culture. I really enjoyed viewing these pictures of the beautiful orphans and would love to adopt one someday. For those of you who don't think that you can afford adoption, there is hope! Most large companies out there have grants available to their employees to help them w/ the cost of adoption. Also, I've visited a local Christian radio station in my city and they offer adoption grants to qualified companies. There are many different routes out there so you'll just have to be creative.

What beautiful, beautiful photographes Mr. Noronha! The children are adorable. It breaks my heart that so many children could be given forever families if it wasn't so darn expensive. I have longed to adopt several of the older children for years. Alas, it will remain just a dream. I wish them all love and peace any way. Thank you again for the smiles.

My son was in this orphanage. Luckily, at the time we adopted him, they told us that all the babies in the baby room you photographed were either spoken for and going to be adopted or there for foster care. The staff there is very kind, but just not enough of anything to go around...
