Couple facing charges in sexual abuse of two girls in Elliott County, Ky.

SANDY HOOK, Ky. (WCHS/WVAH) — Kentucky State Police said a couple is facing charges in connection to the sexual abuse of two girls in Elliott County.
Ronald Stinespring, 48, of Sandy Hook was indicted Wednesday on multiple charges, including 10 counts of rape, 10 counts of sodomy, 10 counts of incest, sexual abuse of a victim under 12 years old, 11 counts of criminal abuse of a child under 12 years, wanton endangerment and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, according to a news release from State Police.
Ty Stinespring, 45, of Sandy Hook was indicted on a two counts of complicity to commit criminal abuse.
Troopers said they received a call on March 1 stating a girl had showed up at a home in Elliott County claiming she had been held against her will and escaped in the night. Troopers said the girl said another female juvenile was inside the home and was in danger. Troopers searched the home and arrested Ronald Stinespring after he attempted to run from them. Ty Stinespring was later arrested.
In addition to state charges, the Louisville Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is investigating possible federal explosives violations. FBI Louisville is continuing to partner with the Kentucky State Police and its other federal partners to determine if there are additional federal charges. FBI Louisville is also currently providing assistance to the victims of these crimes.
Both suspects were taken to the Rowan County Detention Center. Bond for Ronald Stinespring was set at $500,000 cash only, and Ty Stinespring's bond was set at $15,000 cash only.
