A six-year-old girl who was body slammed and killed in DeSoto this week may have been attacked over a bedwetting incident.

Court documents hint for the first time at what the motive may have been in the attack.

A search warrant and its accompanying affidavit were filed Thursday.

The warrant identifies the killer as a 14-year-old boy who lives in the home on Candle Meadow Boulevard in DeSoto. However, later it gives a date of birth which actually makes the teen 15.

In the search, detectives seized bed linens from where Katherine Frances was initially attacked, as well as the boy's cell phone.

In the warrant, one of Katherine's older sisters says the teen "….became angry at the six (6) year old victim because the Victim had urinated on herself in bed."

Later, the same sister also "….described to the Officers that the fourteen (14) year old suspect held the six (6) year old victim over his head and slammed the six (6) year old victim head first repeatedly onto the floor."

The sister also claimed that about a week earlier she and Katherine had been urged to stage a fight in front of the boy and that he had recorded it on his cell phone. But it turns out the seized phone has no camera.

Katherine died at Children's Medical Center in Dallas after her organs were donated to save four other children. Her three siblings now live with a grandfather while Desoto police and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services look into the death.

The accused killer is in custody at the Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center in Dallas. He has had one court appearance. The second one is set for mid-December.
