Small-Man Syndrome
I've always wondered what's the appeal between an American man and an Asian woman. It has nothing to do with race, as much as culture. WHY would an American guy want to venture into a domain so culturally old, vast and uhhh... dominant? After all, what American doesn't know, size matters, and bigger is better -- or is THAT what's he's banking on?
But then, I remind myself: I am ALWAYS thinking as a female adoptee, with a dirty mind, aren't I?
In terms of China baby-trade, females have little worth. It's the males that have family dominance. Last name legacy comes first. And in terms of land ownership, commerce and trade... family name means everything, doesn't it?
But China-American trade is modern history. Adoption is as old as the hills. In fact, Oedipus and Moses were both "documented" ,<cough, cough>, as being adopted. So historically, what does this say about men, women and a child's worth in a family system?
Are we by-products of love, war or pawns for both?
There was a time one man had many women - harems and concubines. This may have been seen as the ideal. But truthfully, among the women, was it? Face it, women talk. Was the man a good lover? Did he require so many women because he had such an insatiable sexual appetite, or was he just a flop in bed? Did he need so many women because he needed to procreate? Was his sperm-count good enough? Was one woman good enough? If she didn't get pregnant, maybe she was flawed. Find another. If she couldn't get pregnant... FIND ANOTHER! And so on , and so on, and so on.
GOD FORBID the problem be with the man, right????
Not in THOSE days... when men wore long skirts, long hair and jewelry!
<GASP!!!> Back in those days, any flaw with fertility MUST have come from the female... right????
In America, men wear tight jeans, briefs and still blame women for infertility.
Amazing how progressive we have become, isn't it?
How much is it worth for a woman to have a child of her own?
Go ask a private adoption agency, or fertility clinic.
I'm sure they can tell you the price of love and motherhood these days.
[I have one year's worth of medical bills to prove the cost of natural child birth AND the effects of falsified documentation, too.]
What boggles my mind is how or why men feel the need to control others through the use of their testicles. Why does territory relate to the size of their man-hood? As a nurse, let me impart some of my insight, and ask if anyone disagrees with my man-theory:
Small men with small penis' are meek and docile with women but aggressive in business, and have a great sense of humor. Large men with large penis' are quiet and unassuming, and generally successful. Average men are average, in all aspects. Small men with large penis' have Small Man Syndrome... they are the large dogs in small bodies, and they are scary ruthless dudes.

What frightens me?
Small narrow, single-minded thinking. There is only one exception to that rule, and that pertains to the care that should be given to a mother and her baby.
THAT should never be messed-with. EVER. Period.
