Pound Pup Legacy

I remember learning about the planets in school:  My Very Educated Mother Just Showed Us Nine Planets.

Mercury. Venus. Earth. Mars. Jupiter. Saturn. Uranius. Neptune, Pluto.

From what I'm told, Pluto, the smallest (the runt) is no longer a planet.

My father, sick man that he is, would say, "See?  The mother eats her youngest!"

I know my dad tries to be funny when he jokes like that with me, because I am known to be on the saucy-side.  The truth is, as one who was let go, and relinquished, there is a darkness to being banished and cast-away.  For whatever reason, I wasn't wanted.

That doesn't go away.

It's a black-hole.

Forever stuck in me.

Thanks to her.  Both women turned their backs when I needed them.

How does a girl get over that?

I have to teach myself, and hope I get it right.
