Man sentenced on child rape charges

NEW MIAMI, OH (FOX19) - A New Miami man was sentenced Tuesday to nearly 200 years behind bars on child rape charges.

Kenneth Ashcraft, 41, was found guilty by a jury in October of 11 counts of Rape, three counts of Corruption of a Minor, one count of Felonious Sexual Penetration, and one count of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor for molesting five children over twenty years.

He was sentenced to at least 129 to 189 years in prison.

By virtue of his convictions, Ashcraft is a Tier III offender requiring registration with the Sheriff every ninety days for the rest of his life.
