I've been thinking about how and why I feel like I'm a deranged lunatic, and I've come to the conclusion that I get my f-ed up fears and neurotic behaviors from my psycho mom.  Yes, she made me the fruit-cake nut-job that I am.  Although, to be fair, the men in her life sure as hell didn't help me, either!

When late February we started our Abuse Cases section, I had foreseen we could only show the tip of an iceberg, but I hadn't foreseen the size of that tip. Since the incarnation of that section the list of cases has grown with the following recent cases:

A suspected paedophile targeted in an international manhunt was today arrested by police in the United States, Interpol revealed.

The arrest was made two days after Interpol, the international police agency based appealed for public help to track down the man.

A MAN who continued to beat, terrorise and sexually molest two little sisters – even though social workers and a teacher expressed their concerns – was jailed for ten years yesterday.

Judge Lord Kinclaven told Norman Carden: "The word abuse is barely adequate to describe the despicable conduct set out in these charges."

I read an article about a new-age pot demonstration, and I had to laugh at the code-word given to it:  "420".  The first thing that same to my mind was the phrase:  "They'll deep 6 the 420 in no time".  After all, pot can easily be confiscated and destroyed, eliminating the pesky drug problem for today's youthful population, right?

Ever wonder where the money comes and goes as it relates to social programs like Child Protective Services?

Ever wonder who's responsible for the creation of the individual social programs each government offers it's people, and how these programs reflect the care and concern a Public Servant has for the people he/she serves?

I have tried the therapy-route several times over, only to find the single-most annoying aspect of "reaching-out" to a stranger is realizing the ones who claim to have extensive psychological training don't know dipsey-doodle about adoption, abandonment and abuse issues as a single-experience.  Most morons would classify one (Adoption) as an unrelated issue to the more commonly-seen and widely accepted PTSD or bi-polar diagnosis that quickly gets linked to trauma and abuse.
