Grumpy Bugs

It's Day Two, and already one of my first-graders is having a difficult time at school because her teacher has been very "grumpy" in class.  According to my daughter, her teacher has to keep yelling at her students to keep them quiet.

Am I judging?

Not yet.  I have four children.  I know how difficult it is to tame a brood of loud, eager and anxiously excited kids.  What I don't know is how many students in my daughter's class are classified as "Special Ed".

As a parent, THIS is what concerns me, especially if many of these special-ed children are on special meds that require special monitoring.

Disruptive behavior in a classroom needs to be a concern for all parents sending their children to school.

For the sake of student-teacher safety and education:  how safe are our children in classrooms, and how prepared are our young graduate teachers facing students with RAD-related disorders.
