I'm looking at you through the glass,
don't know how much time has passed
Oh God it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that
Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head...
Cause I'm looking at you through the glass,
don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that
Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head...

How do you feel? That is the question...
But I forget you don't expect an easy answer
When something like a soul becomes initialized and folded up like
Paper dolls and little notes, you can't expect a bit of hope
And while you're outside looking in, describing what you see
Remember what you're staring at is me

Cause I'm looking at you through the glass,
don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that
Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head...

How much is real? So much to question
An epidemic of the mannequins contaminating everything
We thought came from the heart - but never did right from the start
Just listen to the noises - null and void instead of voices
Before you tell yourself It's just a different scene
Remembering is just different from what you've seen

Cause I'm looking at you through the glass,
don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that
Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head...
Cause I'm looking at you through the glass,
don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that
Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head...

And it's the stars, the stars that shine for you
And it's the stars, the stars that lie to you
And it's the stars, the stars that shine for you
And it's the stars, the stars that lie to you

I'm looking at you through the glass,
don't know how much time has passed
Oh God it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that
Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head...

Cause I'm looking at you through the glass,
don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that
Forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head...
And it's the stars, the stars that shine for you
And it's the stars, the stars that lie to you
And it's the stars, the stars that shine for you
And it's the stars, the stars that lie to you
It's the stars, it's the stars, that lied

"Sitting all alone inside your head"

I really like that line, (and this song), especially how it relates to the feeling as if no one understands what a certain experience feels like, simply because you're afraid to talk about it.

Adoption is one of those topics that people get funny about.  It's supposed to be supported, because so many children are being helped.

Well, many more adults and children are being used and abused by the adoption industry, as well... and it needs to be discussed, because too many lies and lives are being hurt for all the wrong reasons.  Money can be made.

In every adoption story, two sides are getting hurt, (the parents and the child) and nothing is as it appears.  That's why I chose the song and video.

There are parents seeking adult support for their children with RAD and there are adults with RAD seeking other adults with RAD. What does that say about child-placement these days?

It needs to be discussed, and adults need help getting their lives pulled together so their kids don't repeat their parent's mistakes.
