PENDLETON - The following sentences have been imposed in Umatilla County courts:

•Justin M. Smith, also known as John H. Kuchler Jr., 52, 37 N.E. Mount Hebron, Pendleton, pleaded guilty on a November 2001 incident involving second degree sexual abuse and was placed on probation for 60 months, assigned 180 custody units, assigned 90 jail units, and was ordered to pay $1,664 in fine and assessment fees and to pay a $500 domestic violence assessment. Smith pleaded guilty on a second count of second degree sexual abuse and was sentenced to 20 months prison and was ordered to pay $1,664 in fine and assessment fees and to pay a $500 domestic violence assessment.

•Janis E. Kuchler, 50, 37 N.E. Mount Hebron, Pendleton, pleaded guilty on a November 2001 incident involving second degree sexual abuse and was placed on probation for 60 months, assigned 180 custody units, assigned 90 jail units, and was ordered to pay $1,664 in fine and assessment fees and to pay a $500 domestic violence assessment.
