Officials are releasing few details about the drowning Saturday of a 4-year-old Andrew boy.

Collin Parker William Holdgrafer was pronounced dead at 5:15 p.m. Saturday at the Jackson County Regional Health Center in Maquoketa.

But where he died, how he died and who found the child all remain undisclosed.

Jackson County Sheriff's Department officials said they discovered something of interest during the autopsy, but they will not release any information until next week at the earliest.

The Maquoketa Department of Human Services also declined comment, although the boy's grandmother, Karen Friend, of Dubuque, said the organization had been involved earlier with the family.

Funeral arrangements are pending for the boy, who is listed as the son of Andy and Danielle Holdgrafer. Friend said that the Holdgrafers are Collin's uncle and aunt.

Friend said that Collin's biological mother, Jodi Holdgrafer, is serving prison time for a drug conviction and will not be released until 2020. Friend said the family is working to secure a temporary release for Jodi to attend the funeral.
