Girls adopted by Lon and DeAnna Kennard

2 (or more) girls from Ethiopia, adopted by Lon and DeAnna Kennard in the early 1990's, were allegedly sexually abused by their adoptive father. The Kennards were founders of the charity/adoption facilitator Village of Hope. At the time the abuse started Lon Kennard was Bishop of the LDS Church.

DeAnna Kennard filed for divorce three days after Lon Harvey Kennard was charged. Lon plead guilty to aggravated sex abuse of a child.
