Attle. man charged in child sex abuse

Held on bail till court date next month

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) - An Attleboro man is being held without bail after facing a judge on multiple charges related to the sexual abuse of a minor.

Court officials said Monday James Ramaglia was remanded to the Bristol County House of Corrections on three charges of rape, one charge of indecent assault and battery, a charge of incest, and a charge of obscene behavior to a minor.

Ramaglia is due back in court September 11th.

Suspect's wife also arrested

Police said Monday that shortly after Ramaglia was arraigned, they arrested his wife, Linda Ramaglia. She's charged with assault and battery upon a disabled person and allowing reckless endangerment of a child. She's due to be arraigned Tuesday.

Attleboro Police also said they alerted the Disabled Persons Protection Commission about the case.
