Attorneys for the Winchester mother accused of murder now want to hire a new expert to analyze how the girl died. 34-year-old Jessilyn Robinson faces murder charges in connection to the death of 4-year-old Faith Robinson.
Jessilyn told police that the girl fell and hit her head in the bathtub lat may, but doctors say her injuries were not consistent with a fall.
The Winchester Sun says Jessilyn’s attorney told a judge there were deficits in the original experts report that no one could answer and has asked for the money to hire a biomedical engineer.
She is scheduled to be back in court in June.
