Judge Juan Carlos Martinez ordered the release of four involved in the theft of the child Jonathan, events of June 21 and were captured on Wednesday in Mixco.

Detainees are

Alfredo de Jesús Majin Barrutia Aguirre

Mónica Contreras Barrutia

and

Clara Esperanza Méndez

, who paid Q5 thousand bail. 

Ana María Barrutia de Contreras

, who allegedly started the adoption process with false documents, her bond wasQ20 mil.

Judicial authorities said that bail was granted because the Public Ministry (MP) were charged with child abduction, but the diligence did not mention that the accused abducted the minor with a firearm or that they assaulted the  mother of the minor.

The assistant prosecutor of the Child Victims Unit, Wendy Patricia Ordóñez, who tried to get in the vehicle of Ana María Barrutia, will be investigated, reported to the Office.

 

Juan Carlos Martinez, father of the baby, said he fears for the lives of his family. "We are not sure where we live, we will move."  Jorge Mario Gramajo, of the Survivor Foundation, said that they are joining the process as complainants.

El juez Juan Carlos Martínez ordenó la libertad de cuatro implicados en el robo del niño Jonathan, hecho ocurrido el 21 de junio y fue recuperado el miércoles en Mixco.

Los detenidos son Alfredo de Jesús Majin Barrutia Aguirre, Mónica Contreras Barrutia y Clara Esperanza Méndez, quienes pagaron Q5 mil de fianza. A Ana María Barrutia de Contreras, quien supuestamente inició los trámites de adopción con documentos falsos, se le impuso una fianza de Q20 mil.

Autoridades del Organismo Judicial dijeron que la fianza se concedió debido a que el Ministerio Público (MP) los acusó de sustracción de menores, pero en la diligencia no se mencionó que los sindicados secuestraron al menor con arma de fuego ni que agredieron a la madre del menor.

La auxiliar fiscal de la Unidad de la Niñez Víctima, Wendy Patricia Ordóñez, quien intentó sacar en su vehículo a Ana María Barrutia, será investigada, se informó en la Fiscalía.

Juan Carlos Martínez, padre del bebé, dijo que teme por la vida de su familia. “Ya no estamos seguros donde vivimos, nos vamos a mudar”. Jorge Mario Gramajo, de la Fundación Sobrevivientes, dijo que se adherirán al proceso como querellantes.
