Samoa - J.T. case
JT's adoptive mother20 month old "JT" was adopted in May 2003. JT's father never consented to adoption and tried to stop the adoption. JT's adoptive parents were told lies about her history --that there was no father, -- that JT was abused, ---the mother was unable to care for her children, --that JT was in a nanny house (she lived with her birthparents).
JT's adoptive parents learned the truth when contacted by the US State department in May 2006.
