Jonathan, the baby stolen from a tortilleria, is found

PNC and MP raided three locations to find the child. No baby was located, but they found pictures of the baby. Then a woman confessed where he had been.

This happened yesterday morning at the 40th Street and 16th Avenue area 8, where prosecutors and police made one of three raids in search of Jonathan, who finally found a home in Mixco and then brought their parents in Zone 8.  The Survivor Foundation has helped PNC in locating the site.

Las lágrimas volvieron a rodar en las mejillas de Cristina, igual que aquel 21 de junio, cuando impotente se quedó tirada en el suelo, llorando porque 2 mujeres se llevaron a su hijo de 40 días a punta de pistola. Ayer, vio a Jonathan nuevamente, después de 27 días de estar separada de él (hoy cumple 68 días de nacido), lo apretó en sus brazos, como queriendo fundirse con él, a más no poder.

Segundos después, se les unió su esposo, Juan Carlos, que perdió en ese instante la fortaleza de las últimas semanas, en las que tuvo que consolar a su esposa, trabajar y apartar tiempo para ir a la Policía, Ministerio Público y a cuanta oficina fuera necesaria para recuperar a su bebé. Su llanto lo ahogaba, pero su rostro lo delataba: soltaba el dolor, la angustia que guardó por días.

Esto ocurrió ayer por la mañana, en la 40 calle y 16 avenida de la zona 8, donde fiscales y policías realizaron uno de los tres allanamientos en busca de Jonathan, a quien finalmente encontraron en una vivienda en Mixco y después llevaron a sus padres en la zona 8. La Fundación Sobrevivientes ayudó a la PNC a localizarlo.

Jesús Esquivel, subjefe de la División de Investigación Criminal (Dinc), informó que hace dos semanas se efectuaba la investigación. “Cuando llegamos, no encontramos al niño, pero sí unas fotos de él. La mamá lo reconoció por un lunar en la cara. Una mujer que estaba en el lugar confesó que el niño se encontraba en una casa cuna. Su nueva identificación sería Luis Pablo Pérez, según un acta de nacimiento falsa faccionada por autoridades de Iztapa”. Esquivel añadió que fueron capturadas cuatro personas, entre ellas la abogada Ana María Barrutia, a cargo del proceso de adopción de Jonathan Martínez Sol.

Se informó que una fiscal a cargo del caso intentó sacar del lugar a Barrutia en su vehículo, pero la Policía se lo impidió.

Dina Castro, del Instituto de Derechos de la Familia, dijo que la abogada no puede decir que no sabía que fue sorprendida en su buena fe, ya que antes de iniciar el proceso de adopción, debió hacerle una prueba de ADN.

– Lo primero que voy a hacer es encomendarme a Dios y darle todo lo que pueda. Quiero agradecer a los medios de comunicación y a “elPeriódico” por la ayuda.

¿Qué pensaba mientras

él no estaba?

– No me cansé de rogarle a Dios que regresara. Tenía la esperanza de volverlo a ver, aunque sea grande. Nunca iba a renunciar a buscarlo
