Heavily pregnant woman is missing

A heavily pregnant woman who was due to give birth has gone missing from her home in Norfolk.

Emily Burgess, 32, from Great Yarmouth, who is described as 5ft 3in (160cm), with long dark brown hair, disappeared at some point on 21 February.

"There is growing concern for Ms Burgess and her unborn child," a spokesman for Norfolk Police said.

"When she went missing she was heavily pregnant and is due to give birth next week sometime."

Extensive inquiries with hospitals and midwives have failed to reveal any information leading to Ms Burgess' whereabouts.

Anyone with information in relation to her current whereabouts is asked to contact Norfolk Police.
