Arrest of man in connection with the ongoing Historical Abuse Enquiry

THE States of Jersey Police can confirm that this morning (Tuesday 29 April) a 68 year old man was arrested in Jersey in connection with the ongoing Historical Abuse Enquiry which the States of Jersey Police are currently investigating.
The arrest took place just before 7 am this morning.
The man is now in custody helping Police with their enquiries in connection with a number of historic rapes and indecent assaults.
No more details can be given at this time.
