New Arrest in Queen City Homicide
A mother is behind bars for the murder of her 13-year-old adopted son, and now her husband is facing charges for tampering with evidence.
On Monday, Cass County officials arrested Cynthia Hudson, 45, after Samuel Hudson, 13, was found dead. An exact cause of death has yet to be determined. The boy was one of six children living in the home. All of them were adopted and police say all of them were severely abused. Thursday morning, Cynthia’s husband, William turned himself into the Cass County Sheriff’s Department. Hudson faces charges of tampering with evidence.
The remaining five children are in state custody and have been placed in a foster home.
