Between the ages of 6 months and 6 years old she was sexually abused by her adoptive father Luis Ponce, Jr, who filmed the abuse. Almost two decades later, after he was convicted of 16 counts of molestation for abusing two girls under the age of 3, Keri Ponce filed a civil suit against him, which she won. Ponce and his first wife, (Keri's mother), ran a foster-care facility. The mother was not charged.
