AOHL is collaborating with the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare to create an emergency placement transitional care center for abandoned children within the Bridge Center. Acres of Hope will be working closely with the Ministry to assist in finding the most appropriate placement for all children in Liberia coming into the system. We began construction on the Bridge Center some months ago and are now beginning phase two of the project. The shell of the 35,000 sq ft building is complete and we are looking forward to finishing the Center in the next six months. Your help is urgently needed in order to finish on time for the opening in November 2008. This has been a huge undertaking and we have been blessed to have the Overseas Qingdao Group from China overseeing and constructing the building.
