A Child's Waiting Adoption Agency Case / hearing report

public

“THE TRIAL COURT ERRED IN NOT ALLOWING THE PETITIONER TO WITHDRAW HER CONSENT TO THE ADOPTION OF HER DAUGHTER.”

“THE TRIAL COURT ERRED IN FINDING THAT IT LACKED JURISDICTION TO HEAR [MOTHER’S] CHALLENGE TO THE VALIDITY OF HER CONSENT TO THE ADOPTION OF HER DAUGHTER.”

Through her two assignments of error, Mother contends that the trial court erred in not allowing her to withdraw her consent to the adoption of her daughter and that the trial court erred in finding that it lacked jurisdiction to hear Mother’s challenge to the validity of that consent. This Court finds no merit in either assignment of error.

This document is a report of the above case.
