Giovani per la pace

Project Description:

Associazione Amici dei Bambini (AiBi) is a humanitarian organisation based in Milan, Italy, promoting the protection of children rights. Aim of the project "Youth for Peace" is to promote peace and multicultural dialogue in the Balkan region. In this framework, the objective is to give an opportunity to young people of different ethnic origins to actively participate in the creation of the civil society in the region. The project intends to empower not only the work of local youth centres at local level but also to intensify the collaboration among them at international level. The project foresees to set up a European - Balkan network of youth centres, to create a website through which the young people can communicate with their peers, to run a distance learning course on IT for youngsters involved in the centres, to implement youth information activities and to organise a summer camp and a European conference in the Balkan region.
