An EIDHR grant is helping children and mothers in the area surrounding Tirana to understand the risks and dangers of child trafficking for illegal and commercial adoption purposes. Amici dei Bambini, thanks to the EC funding, has set up a Services Centre and has recruited social workers working with groups of mothers and children at risk. The grant is also funding a survey on children adoption for commercial purposes.
