Preet Mandir facilitates Adoptions From The Heart
We are excited to be working with Preet Mandir orphanage in India on several projects to help improve the lives of women and children in India. Preet Mandir has been providing services to the poor and needy children of India for 25 years. They currently provide facilities for 500 children but would like to do more. They are now in the process of establishing two new centers. One is a short stay home for 100 unwed mothers and 50 children. This home, in Kamshet, will take care of destitute, unwed mothers and rehabilitate them through vocational training, allowing them to be self-sufficient and enable them to live in society with respect. Another center in Aldona Goa, will be for 100 homeless children.
With contributions from Adoptions From The Heart and help from adoptive families, we hope to make these two new homes a quick reality. All contributions collected by Adoptions From The Heart for "Project India" will be allocated to Preet Mandir for help with these two undertakings.
