Prison Pup Programs.

Since a serious number of people in prison come from foster-care, reflecting a life-time of abandonment and abuse issues, we chose to devote a section on our website to prison pup programs.

We'd like to see more programs like these activated in state prisons, as we believe they provide an excellent opportunity to bring those who have been treated like animals the chance to learn how to nurture and protect, through the use of sheltered animals and trained professionals.

The list of programs known to us can be found here.

Abuse after childplacement

Group of case files of children abused in the care of adopters or fosterers

While child placement is said to be to give children a better life than would have been possible in their natural families, many cases prove this to be an illusion.

Children have been

This group is dedicated to children who had to suffer abuse at the hands of the people in whose care they were placed.

Here we will setup a case for each child we hear about having to suffer, abuse, neglect while living with other's than their natural parents. To make sure these cases will not be forgotten we will collect all articles we can find on the internet and maintain them for the future.

The complete list can be found here.

Group for discussion

This group contains uncensored discussions about abuse in adoptive/foster families.  PPL created this section for the adult-survivor who still lives in fear, shame and secret misery.  For the sake of privacy and protection, manager-approval is required for members to read/add content to these pages.

All posts within this category need to be reserved for "Adult Aftermath" only, so please make sure the "public" audience box is unchecked before submitting new topics/threads.

Deportation cases

A group for the collection of cases of international adoptees having been or facing deportation to county of birth, due to criminal activity

This group is dedicated to the cases of international adoptees, who face deportation or have been deported to their country of birth, because they have been convicted of criminal activity.

Since the Child Citizen Act (2000), international adoptees automatically receive US citizenship, though the law doesn't apply in retrospect to those adoptees adopted before 2000. So there are many, now adult, international adoptees who don't have American citizenship. To them the 1996 Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act applies. This law implies deportation of non-citizens for criminal records where they are sentenced to 1 year or more of prison time.

Several international adoptees, most of them having lived almost of all of their lives in the USA, are facing deportation and some already have been deported. A list of the cases can be found here.
